To encourage the participation of women in the career and volunteer fire service of the
State of New York;
To disseminate pertinent fire service information to its members;
To provide a supportive network and communication among women in the fire service;
To conduct an annual training week for fire service women;
To annually hold Phoenix Firecamp, a week-long residential summer camp for young women.
